Vakinha, an online fundraising site, says that Pix is already the payment method used for 70% of donations received by the platform. Within a year, 1.8 million transfers were made using the technology.
Recently, Vakinha launched a Pix key from its own website that can be customized for campaigns.
According to the company, the new functionality prevents creators from disclosing their personal keys and can increase security for donors, as the amounts are deposited on the platform, which can return the money in case of fraud.
