Worker has until December 15 to withdraw FGTS 2022

Workers entitled to an extraordinary withdrawal of up to R$ 1,000 from the FGTS (Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço) have until December 15 to request the amounts or transfer what was automatically deposited by Caixa Econômica Federal.

If the money is not moved by that date, it will return to the professional’s account, with corrections and without any loss. However, it can no longer be used, only in situations provided for by law, which include unfair dismissal, purchase of a home, retirement and serious illness, among other situations.

Those who intend to use the money should pay attention to the Caixa calendar to find out from what date it is possible to have access to the values. The credit in the workers’ account will start this Wednesday (20). In all, 42 million professionals will be able to move around R$ 30 billion by the end of the year.

Deposits occur according to the month of the worker’s birthday. In April, there will be only two payments: for those born in January (20) and for those who have a birthday in February (30). Releases always take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Credits will return on May 4th. Those who do not want to receive the money can undo the deposit through the FGTS app. The worker has until November 10 to undo the procedure, also without any damage to the values ​​or correction of the fund’s money.

How will the FGTS 2022 be released?

The release of the extraordinary FGTS withdrawal will occur automatically for most of the 42 million beneficiaries. However, there are professionals who will have to request the money. In this case, you need to access the FGTS app and place the order. Caixa will analyze the release and, on the date indicated according to the calendar, will pay the amounts.

Before, however, the worker must know if he will have the right to withdraw up to R$ 1,000. This consultation is done on the website fgts.caixa.gov.br or through the application. The professional with money in the fund, which is not blocked, will be entitled to the extraordinary withdrawal.

The amount of up to BRL 1,000 per worker considers the sum of the available balances of all open accounts, both from the current and former employers. To find out if you will receive, it is possible to consult the FGTS website and application.

First, the balance in the old accounts of the Guarantee Fund will be released. Afterwards, amounts will be paid from the current employment account, for workers with an active contract.

Payment will be made by Caixa Tem

The extraordinary FGTS withdrawal will be fully digital, through the Caixa Tem app. The amounts fall into the digital social savings opened by Caixa on behalf of the worker. If necessary, the professional must update their data in the Guarantee Fund app to be entitled to the withdrawal.

At Caixa Tem, it is possible to make purchases and payments of bills and slips, in addition to transferring amounts to other accounts, including through Pix. It is also possible to withdraw money by generating a withdrawal code. This withdrawal is made at Caixa’s ATMs, at lottery outlets or at the corresponding Caixa Aqui.

2. Then open the app and click “Sign in to the app”
3. The program will ask if you can use Caixa.gov.br; click “Continue”
4. Enter your CPF, go to “I’m not a robot” and then to “Next”; if the program asks to identify images, identify them and go to “Verify”
5. Enter the password and click “Login”
6. A message will appear with information about the extraordinary FGTS withdrawal, click on “I understand”
7. On the home screen, go to “Extraordinary Withdrawal”, in the orange frame
8. On the next screen, you will see how much will be available for you to withdraw
9. To find out which accounts the amount is being debited from, click on “See released FGTS accounts”
10. Payment is automatic, on the digital social account, for most workers; in some cases, you will need to make the request (see the step-by-step below)

5. The system will ask to click on images; identify them and go to “Verify”
