The partnership between the COB (Brazilian Olympic Committee) and Mauricio de Sousa Produções signed in 2019 will be extended until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Under the agreement, the characters of Turma da Mônica remain in the marketing and relationship actions with athletes and the public.
According to the COB, the partnership aims to encourage young people and children to follow Olympic sports and pursue a career.
Among the projects already developed, several athletes were designed with the traits of characters such as Monica and Cebolinha. Female empowerment actions were also carried out.
