Turbined in the pandemic, ecommerce is still on the rise. In the first quarter, sales volume increased by almost 13% compared to the same period last year, according to Neotrust’s indicator with the metrics committee of the Brazilian Chamber of Digital Economy.
According to the study, 17.5% of Brazilian internet users made at least one purchase outside the presence.
The most sought after items were office, computer and communication equipment and supplies (42.5%), furniture and home appliances (28.7%) and fabrics, clothing and footwear (10.5%).
Between February and March, ecommerce sales grew by 22%.
