Businesswoman Cris Arcangeli joined the New Party. Before, she says she received an invitation from three parties, including a poll for the vice-governor’s seat.
A former figure of entrepreneurship in Brazil, she founded the Phytoervas brand in the 1980s and more recently was a judge on the reality show Shark Tank. In recent years, she has positioned herself in the discussions that have divided the business community on tax reform.
The affiliation is another gesture of the engagement that Arcangeli has been preparing for years, however, he says he still doesn’t have a defined plan for her participation in this year’s electoral contest.
“I think it’s a lot because of my work in entrepreneurship and the work I do with small and medium-sized companies. And because of the creation of Comunidades a 1,000 [reality show de empreendedorismo lançado em Paraisópolis]”, says Arcangeli.
