The Government of São Paulo announces this Tuesday (26) that it has decided to postpone the concession auction for the northern section of the Rodoanel, which was scheduled for this Wednesday (27).
The decision comes amid economic uncertainties on the horizon, such as the advance of the INCC (National Construction Cost Index), which increased by another 0.87% in April, above the one calculated in March, accumulating a high of 11.54% in 12 months.
The forecast of rising interest rates is also seen as a worrying obstacle, with long-term credit for investors more expensive and less attractive.
The period of temporary suspension should be used to adjust the concession model, according to government officials.
