The announcer of a concert by singer Gusttavo Lima, 32, held in Brasília, gave a speech against communism and in defense of “God, homeland and family”. The presentation, which took place last Saturday (21), was the same in which videos of a general fight between people in the audience were recorded.
Videos circulating on social media show when the announcer defended “God, the fatherland and the family” — integralism’s motto — and also added that “communism will never be here”. Despite not mentioning the name of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), he used a speech similar to that of the politician.
He also called for “freedom to think, freedom to act, freedom to talk, freedom to be on the internet, freedom of speech.” “Brazil is ours. The Brazil of work, of conquest. The Brazil of God, homeland and family. It is the Brazil of blessed people”, he said.
Although the speech was not by the singer, Gusttavo Lima is one of the artists who support the reelection of the politician. The musician’s advice, however, stated in a note that “there was no influence from the singer, nor from the organization in the words said”. “We respect everyone’s political position, regardless of party and we will not comment further on the matter”, he adds.
The event took place at Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília. On Monday (23), the sertanejo commented on the widespread fight that took place at the presentation, and released a statement in which he claims to have held the event with “strong security” for “full enjoyment of the public”, he said.
