THE Britney Spears lawyer lightning strikes her father, Jamie Spearsfor obstruction in the legal dispute he has with his daughter and asks him to testify.
The pop star, set in November regained her freedom after 13 years of strict custody of Jamie’s fatheraccording to Page Six of the New York Post, agreed to receive 13,200,000 euros from the publishing house “Simon & Schuster” for the exclusive rights of her autobiography.
Now the series with the family seems to be continuing, as her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, claims that her father does not work with them, as he had initially claimed.
“Indeed, while stating that he would cooperate unconditionally and act in full transparency and unconditionally, Mr. Spears has been obstructing and avoiding – for more than six months – his deposition, repeatedly failing to respond to simple requests for basic information.”
In the application, 21 pages, for the forced submission of her father, there is a list of alleged misdemeanors he allegedly committedwhile acting as his daughter’s guardian, for more than a decade.
This list includes allegations that he monitored her bedroom, with the help of Security, in order to record the private conversations of his famous daughter.
The lawyer also points out that Britney Spears’s father paid for these, the alleged services, with money from the singer’s fortune and allegedly hid it from the Los Angeles Supreme Court.
In the documents, the lawyer warns her father that “he can run, but he can not hide”, as he is willing to take the testimony of the Louisiana resident “in any city in the country”.
