Former BBB Rodrigo Mussi, 36, spoke for the first time about the serious car accident he suffered in São Paulo and his recovery. In the interview with Fantástico (Globo), which aired this Sunday (29), Mussi said it is a ‘miracle’ to have survived the serious car accident.
“It’s a privilege to be alive because everyone who was close to the accident didn’t expect that I would be here recovering and progressing. It really was a miracle even for the doctors”, said the former BBB
Mussi also spoke about his childhood and relationship with his parents who drank and beat each other in front of him and a nanny who started to sexually abuse him when he was five years old – the abuse lasted three years.
When his parents separated he went to live with his mother, who kicked him out of the house at age 11. He went to live with his father and stepmother, but was kicked out of the house again, this time at the age of 17. “I had to build my own values,” he said.
The former BBB suffered a car accident while returning from the Morumbi stadium after watching a game between São Paulo and Palmeiras alongside his friend and also former BBB Gui Napolitano. The incident took place on March 31.
He was in the back passenger seat of an application car without a seat belt and was thrown over the front of the car after a crash. Mussi suffered head trauma, in addition to other fractures throughout his body. He underwent surgery on his head and on one of his legs.
On the day of the accident, Mussi was admitted without identification to the Hospital das Clínicas because he was without documents and it took the family ten hours to discover that he was hospitalized in serious condition. “It was the first time I went out without documents, a wallet, because I had everything on my cell phone, a driver’s license”, he explained.
