Johnny Depp x Amber Heard: See looks that the actress wore on trial

The legal battle between Amber Heard, 36, and Johnny Depp, 58, had international repercussions for almost six weeks. With all the proceedings televised, fans around the world were able to follow the day-to-day of the defamation trial, and the actress’ looks drew attention.

The actress bet on combinations of suits, shirts and ties. On some days, she also wore light dresses paired with coats. Although the choices were praised by netizens throughout the trial, some accused the artist of copying Depp’s clothes.

One look that drew attention was the combination of a black blazer with golden buttons, over a white shirt. To top it off, Heard wore a black tie, with a gold detail matching the buttons. Check out Heard’s main looks below.

In the lawsuit, the actor asked for US$ 50 million, about R$ 237 million, from Heard for an opinion article that the actress published in an editorial for The Washington Post, in December 2018, in which she describes herself as a ” public figure representing domestic abuse”.

Heard, on the other hand, was asking for US$100 million, about R$475 million, in his counter-accusation, alleging that he suffered “unrestrained physical violence and abuse”. The two started dating in 2011, got married in 2015 and the following year they filed for divorce, finalized only in 2017.
