Shakira and Piqué are separating after the player’s betrayal, says Spanish newspaper

Singer Shakira, 45, and player Gerard Piqué, 35, are splitting, according to Spanish newspaper El Periódico. The athlete from Barcelona and the Spanish national team would already be living alone in his old apartment, after his betrayal was discovered by the Colombian artist.

The information was given on the Mamarazzis podcast, which is broadcast on the newspaper’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. Before, the same newspaper had already informed readers that the couple was going through a crisis in their marriage.

The publication says that Shakira not only discovered the fence jump, but would also have known who was the pivot of the betrayal. “That’s why she made the decision to separate,” says the publication. “Maybe it will come to nothing, but [a infidelidade] occurred.”

Piqué, in turn, would be leading a single life in Barcelona, ​​where the couple lives. He would be a frequent presence in the boxes of nightclubs in the city, alongside teammate Riqui Puig, 22. “He was seen accompanied by other women”, guarantees the newspaper.

Shakira and Piqué got married in 2011. The two had met a year earlier, in 2010, when he participated in the recording of the video for “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)”, one of the official songs of that year’s Cup, held at South Africa. They are the parents of two boys, Milan and Sasha.

The couple’s last publications together are from March. This month, Shakira published an image with her husband to celebrate Valentine’s Day, when Valentine’s Day is celebrated in some countries. She also celebrated when her husband reached the mark of 600 games for Barcelona.
