The two announced last September, via Instagram, that They got engaged, but did not set a wedding date. Two months later, a court suspended the singer’s “guardianship” status, which gave her father the right to control her personal life and finances for 13 years. Spears, 40, has two marriages to her credit. In 2004, she married Jason’s childhood friend Allen Alexander in Las Vegas, but their marriage was annulled a few days later. In the same year she married dancer Kevin Federline with whom she had two children. The couple divorced in 2007.
