Kareen Griffith, the consciousness counselor who devised this raisin technique, claims that this method will help you to be in control of yourself. Gradually, you will not even need the raisins. After the raisin technique and after you have become familiar, you can move on to the next stage. This is a series of meditation exercises, which will strengthen you and strengthen you more.

This is the method of five and lasts a maximum of five minutes.

So you spend a few minutes concentrating on observing five things, hearing four sounds, feeling three things (eg your fingers), smelling two things and tasting one.
