Rihanna is America’s Richest Artist

Forbes magazine has just released a list of the 100 richest self-made women in the United States of 2022. In the list with representatives from areas such as health, information technology, business and entertainment, Rihanna, 34, is the first artist in the ranking occupying the 21st position among women who have achieved success on their own. According to the publication’s survey, the singer has an estimated fortune of US$ 1.4 billion (approximately R$ 7.1 billion).

The second artist on the list is Madonna with less than half of Rihanna in her bank accounts: $570 million. The interpreter of “Material Girl”, “Open Your Heart”, “La Isla Bonita” and other hits occupies the 47th position of the select group. Soon after, in 48th place, is Taylor Swift, with a net worth of US$ 570 million. Céline Dion at 60th, Beyoncé at 61st, and Barbra Streisand at 66th also appear in the magazine’s annual rankings.

Rihanna, who recently gave birth to her first child, is also a successful businesswoman. She has a cosmetics line called “Fenty Beauty”, which according to Forbes, the company took the singer’s fortune to the mark of US$ 600 million (R$ 3.7 billion).

She even made a lot of money with the lingerie brand “Savage X Fenty”. There were US$ 50 million in investments in the last year. In addition, Rihanna managed to raise $ 22.5 million to help fight the coronavirus, through the “Clara Lionel Foundation”, an institution created by the singer.
