A Frenchwoman on the planet Arakis: Lea Seidou announced for the Dune sequel

Seydou will play Lady Margot for Denny Villeneuve’s second Dune alongside Timote Salame, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya and Josh Brolin.

A Frenchwoman “lands” on the planet Arakis… The reason for Lea Seidou which was announced to be involved in the distribution of the Dune sequel.

Seidu will play Lady Margot for Danny Villeneuve’s second Dune alongside Timote Salame, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin.

Florence Pew, Austin Butler (best known for his role as Elvis) and the iconic Christopher Walken were also recently announced by Warner Bros. Studios.

With the addition of 36-year-old Seidou, the main pieces of the “puzzle” for the second Dune have been completed to a large extent. Seydou most recently starred in David Cronenberg’s EF Crimes of the Future (shot in Greece), as well as Mia Hansen in Love’s One Fine Morning.

The production of the film, based on his EF books Frank Herbert, is expected to begin in the fall, with the film premiering in theaters on October 20, 2023.
