Lore Improta wants to expand family with Léo Santana: ‘It’s already a chat in the house’

by

The phrase “there are evils that come for good” seems to have never made so much sense in the life of model and dancer Lore Improta, 28. According to her, the comings and goings with her current husband, singer Léo Santana, 34, despite , were important for the couple to mature before the birth of Liz, their first child, currently 9 months old.

“Each couple has their story, and ours was more troubled”, he defines. “Today, it’s part to look back and see that it took that turmoil to understand how much we love each other and evolved as a couple and parents. But we never spent more than a month apart from each other, we always talked to find a way to be together and to have a baby”, he reveals in an interview with F5.

Allied to this, came the pandemic, which caused the two to be locked up 24 hours a day together. “It was the test of fire. We talked more and solved the problems as soon as they happened. It was fundamental to consolidate us as a family”, she defines. Shortly after they got back together, the announcement was made that Lore was pregnant.

When Liz came into the world in September 2021, things were not easy. Lore insists on staving off the romanticism of motherhood by revealing that she had problems breastfeeding, that her breasts were raw, that she hardly slept and that “she cried every day without knowing why and blamed herself for it”. Her doctor detected a “baby blues”, a strong emotional upheaval, but it did not evolve into postpartum depression.

“It’s a lot harder to educate a child than creating choreography”, she jokes, who says she takes her daughter up and down when she realizes that some commitment will take more than two days to finish. But she also has a large support network, which includes her mother, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and a nanny. It’s up to Léo Santana to see the little one twice a day on FaceTime, when he’s traveling, and stick with her when he can be at home.

“We both took several courses together to learn about motherhood and fatherhood. I brought the proposal and he accepted. When he arrives, he takes care of her and I sleep, then we take turns. Everything goes by fast. It was funny that when Liz was born, Léo didn’t believed he was a father, the chip took a while to sink in. Our lives have changed”, says Lore, who confirms that he already has meetings to define the details of the 1st birthday party for the girl, in September.

Despite the changes in her body – she returned to training 30 days after giving birth and saw in dancing a way to lose weight – and psychologically affected Lore, the dancer reveals that she would do it all over again. Or rather, she will do it all over again. The arrival of a second child is already a conversation in the house. “This whole process that I thought could traumatize me disappeared and at two months I was already talking about having another one. We dream of increasing the family soon”, she adds.
