Journalist Silvia Poppovic, 67, shared on social media this Sunday (3) that her husband, endocrinologist Marcello Bronstein, has leukemia and will have to undergo a bone marrow transplant. The donor will be the couple’s daughter, Ana.
“A difficult path, but we have hope that it will be a savior. Our daughter Ana, very generous, was the donor; happily compatible”, wrote the journalist on the social network.
Poppovic said that her husband discovered the leukemia in September of last year and that he did not respond well to chemotherapy. The journalist, who has a YouTube channel, warned her followers that due to her husband’s hospitalization, she will be a little away from the channel and networks. “I hope not for long,” she said.
Celebrities commented on the presenter’s publication on Instagram wishing that everything goes well in the treatment of her husband. “Wishing you the best and that you go through this moment in the most serene and brief way possible”, wrote actress Regina Casé.
Journalist Leda Nagle commented on the publication saying that she is in the crowd. “In faith, in the crowd, believing in your determination, in the competence of doctors and efficiency of treatment, here goes my hug.”
Presenter Renata Fan wrote: “Strength, family! You will be victorious” I have faith.” While Márcia Goldschmidt tried to calm Poppovic: “Everything will be fine Silvia”, she wrote adding heart emojis.
