The new drama series titled “Anise”comes to in the upcoming season and tells the story of the love of two people who belong to completely different worlds. A Greek Christian and a Syrian Muslim, Stratis, son of a wealthy family from Mytilene, and Razan, a Syrian refugee. Everyone carries their own culture, their own truths, their own traumas. They will struggle to resist the whirlwind of love, what they feel. After all, Stratis owes his life to Razan’s partner…
But life writes its own scripts. Will a great love between two such different people manage to bring together their very different worlds? How will their environment deal with him? Their families? The inhabitants of the island?
People, friendships and family relationships will be tested. Some will emerge unscathed, but some will pay the price. Will love come out victorious?
The series takes place in Lesvos where a large part of the filming will take place.
