Actor Bradley Cooper, 47, and Huma Abedin, 47, a former personal assistant to former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have been dating for a few months, according to People magazine. They were introduced by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who is close to both of them.
A source told Page Six that Wintour, who is Cooper’s best friend and adores Abedin, acted like a matchmaker. The actor ended his relationship with actress Diana Agron and started dating Hillary’s assistant. The couple’s representatives have not confirmed the relationship to the website.
Abedin was married to former US congressman Anthony Weiner, who was sentenced in 2017 to 21 months in prison for sex scandals. She said in an interview in October for CBS Sunday Morning who “learned the whole truth” about Weiner’s infidelities and wrongdoings. “I’ve processed it, and I’ve moved on and I wish you good luck.”
In an interview with The Cut, Abedin said she was “heartbroken, dragged, trampled and humiliated” by her ex-husband. According to her, Wintour helped her a lot to overcome this period of extreme trauma. “And just hanging out and being with her, I felt kind of normal and loved.”
