‘Showing the breasts does not lower my racial flag’, says Lumena Aleluia

“If feminism is guided by rights and freedom, it also needs to include women who work with adult content. Or do we become the scum of feminism? Aren’t we liable to be inside the dialogues?” This is how the psychologist, DJ and former BBB Lumena Aleluia, 31, counters the criticism she has received for creating a profile on Privacy, a platform for sensual images and videos.

According to her, the hateful messages she has received just over a week after announcing the news already surpass those she received after Big Brother Brasil 21 (Globo), from which she was eliminated with 61.31% of the votes and whose participation was marked by a fight with the participant who would become champion, Juliette. “Over these months I had been converting this hatred into a good thing, but when I launched Privacy, they started to say that I reinforced stereotypes and objectification of women. Hypocrisy”, she defends.

In her opinion, this is a historical structural problem for which she is not to blame. Lumena believes that people need to have the free will to work in the way they see fit, without being singled out or labeled. “It’s like denying an individual right. Showing my boobs doesn’t diminish my racial and gender flags,” she says.

On the platform, whose subscription varies between R$79.90 and R$469.81, Lumena posts sensual videos produced in motels, lingerie photo shoots and makes more spicy comments. According to her, the subscriber has the right to ask her to do something specific. And, as her work as a Bahia pagodão DJ continues, she intends to start producing sensual videos mixing the two fields of activity.

The desire to migrate to this sexier area came after Carnival. Lumena says that she didn’t have the courage to wear a sensual costume in a fashion show and that later she reflected on the possibility of getting rid of shackles. Today, even with little time in the new job, she says that her initial investment has already been exceeded eight times and that the demand has been considerable.

“I realized that there is a wide universe that deals with fetish and I seek partnerships. I post material every day. My content is democratic. Soon I will also have content that activates my intellectuality, photos with books and glasses, to contribute to this imaginary and to play with my universes”, concludes Lumena, who is also a researcher.
