The animation (or lack thereof) of King Roberto Carlos during one of his presentations has drawn attention on social networks. A video showing the traditional delivery of roses went viral due to the artist’s lack of sympathy (see below).
In the images, he appears tossing the flowers to the audience, but he doesn’t smile and doesn’t kiss them either. Quickly, netizens began to resonate. “Singing the same songs for 60 years I would be angry too,” said one. “The custom is for him to kiss the roses, but he didn’t even feel like it.”
In the same show, the King made news by starring in a video in which he orders a man to “shut up”. The singer, known for his calm and amiability with fans, was irritated by the screams of a young man in the audience, who insisted on interrupting his performance during the song “Como é Grande o Meu Amor por Você”.
Roberto was already annoyed by a small crowd in front of the stage before the show ended. He asked people to be silent. “You got up too soon”, shouted the singer before sending a “shut up, man” accompanied by an expletive to the boy, who became pianinho after the scolding. Of course, the video went viral and turned into jokes and memes.
