The TIPP method will help you manage your stress and calm down

Excessive stress is an unpleasant and counterproductive process. Everyone has it, everyone gets it.

In some it is more intense, in some it is milder. There are people who manage it and people who can’t control it and it takes a toll on them.

In general, there are many techniques to control severe stress and many of them are really effective. But certainly, if you suffer from chronic anxiety and panic attacks, it is good to contact a specialist to help you properly and responsibly.

However, there is also the TIPP method and it is not a simple tip. This name consists of the acronyms of the words Temperature, Intence exercise, Paced Bretahing and paired muscle relaxation.

Essentially, it is a collective development of specific skills, which will not limit your stress, but will help you fight it and not let it rule your life.

Temperature

Stress has a direct impact on your body. You get stressed and your heart rate increases. And this has the direct effect of increasing your temperature.

That is where the first part of TIPP focuses. The secret is to lower your temperature. So take a cool shower, or better yet, dip your head in cold water for 20 to 30 seconds. And repeated a few times.

You can also pour cold water on your face, hold an ice cube in your hand or use a bag of frozen vegetables as an anti-stress agent.

Excercise

The next part of the technique is intense exercise. Running is also good, but a more intense exercise is also the most effective for stress.

So, there are many intense training exercises. The main thing, however, is to put your body in an intense movement. This effectively helps because you unblock your mind from stressful thoughts, but also because you quickly produce endorphins, the essence of joy.

It’s also a good way to unwind and de-stress.

You breathed

Take a deep breath. Such a breath is one of the basic things you have to do to calm down.

Take deep and slow breaths, also exhaling slowly. In this way you calm your mind, while at the same time giving it time to regain its senses.

A very good breathing exercise is the 4 x 4 breathing technique.

Muscle relaxation

The last part of the TIPP method is muscle relaxation.

In this particular case, this relaxation concerns a different group of muscles each time. You don’t have to do anything demanding.

Sit in the starting yoga position or a position that is comfortable for you, and do some exercises that will relax your neck and shoulders. Gradually work your way down.

In this way, you relieve your body of the burden of tension, “untighten” it and relax it from stress.
