Delegates offer BRL 27,000 for information on suspected of stealing Lady Gaga’s dogs

The US Marshals Service this week announced a $5,000 reward for anyone with information that helps arrest the man accused of stealing Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, 36, which was accidentally released.

James Howard Jackson, 19, was held in a Los Angeles prison and was released in April. He was charged with attempted murder and second-degree robbery for shooting the employee who walked the singer’s dogs and stealing the animals.

According to an agency press release, carried by The New York Times, the man was “erroneously released from custody” because of an “administrative error”. “Jackson must be considered armed and dangerous,” the text continues. “Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the police immediately.”

Ryan Fischer, the employee who was shot in the attack – which took place in February – said in an Instagram post that Jackson should surrender. “I ask that Jackson turn himself in to the authorities so that the resolution of the crime committed against me can take its course, whatever the outcome the courts determine,” he wrote.

Jackson had been in custody for nearly a year on bail of more than $3 million. He was arrested along with four other suspects last year after dog walker Fischer was shot in the chest for resisting two men trying to take Gaga’s dogs in February 2021. Fischer survived the bullet and both of them. dogs were recovered.

According to TMZ, the 30-year-old dog walker was shot at on the night of February 24. He was with the artist’s three dogs: Koji, Miss Asia and Gustavo. Although two were stolen, the third, Miss Asia, ran but was later recovered.
