The legal battle between Amber Heard and her ex-husband Johnny Depp, looks like it will continue.
As it became known today, the famous actress filed an appeal against the verdict in the much-lauded Johnny Depp defamation trial.
After all, she had announced it beforehand, and on Thursday morning her lawyers filed an appeal in Fairfax County District Court.
“We believe the court made errors that prevented a fair verdict under the First Amendment. We are therefore appealing the verdict,” said a spokesperson for Amber Heard.
It is recalled that on June 1 the court had vindicated Depp in three of the points of his lawsuit and awarded him a total amount of 15 million dollars. The Fairfax court reduced the amount to 10.4 million.
At the same time, the jury found that Depp had defamed Amber Heard, to whom they awarded damages of 2 million.
