Comedian and former BBB Nego Di has been investigated after more than 200 allegations of embezzlement. That’s because he started to promote a store on his social networks, but everyone who bought from it didn’t receive the products. According to him, the company he trusted dealt a blow to both him and consumers.
“First I apologize to everyone. I’ve been working with my image for seven years and I would never hit a scam. My biggest mistake was trusting people I thought would not be able to hit me,” he said on his social media.
According to Di, after discovering that the virtual store was fake, he says he sold the car and has been raising money to be able to make refunds to everyone who was injured. At the comedian’s restaurant, he says that he will hold events to raise more money and put it in a fund to reimburse families.
“I’m being threatened and I understand, because you bought it after trusting me. I took moral and financial damage, I’m taking money from where I don’t have it. I’m going to work hard to reimburse as many people as I can”, he comments.
Nego Di says he has a folder delivered to the police with more than 70 documents and prints of conversations that would prove that he was also deceived.
