In this list of 50 best beaches worldwide it includes Lalaria of Skiathos. The famous Lalaria beach is very different from the rest of the beaches in Skiathos, as it is the only one that is not surrounded by greenery. The rock formations that emerge from the sea and the white round pebbles (from which the name Lalaria) are the trademark of this excellent beach. Access is only by boat, and that only when the weather permits, due to winds.
Lalaria Beach is located in the northern part of Skiathos. It is a beach widely known for its pebbles and is visited by many tourists in the summer. Access is by boats that are anchored in the old port of the island. It is also known for the rock that has an opening and many swimmers dive there. Its waters are crystal clear and deep blue.
