On her 27th birthday, Marília Mendonça received a special tribute from Fausto Silva. This Friday’s Faustão na Band program (22) was fully dedicated to the singer, who died in a plane crash in November 2021.
“A woman who came like a comet. The time she stayed here was intense, dense and, above all, she left the mark of an irreproachable talent”, said the presenter, in one of the many emotional moments of the night. The duos Maiara and Maraisa and Henrique and Juliano participated in the tribute, telling stories, singing and bringing memories of their friend.
Marília’s intelligence, talent and maturity were praised by everyone. “She was a real genius. What you saw was what you could see, we lived together and it was a zillion times bigger”, commented the sisters.
“There were some lyrics that we even doubted and thought: ‘It’s not possible that Marília wrote this when she was 15′”, said Henrique, protagonist of one of the most emotional moments of the night. During the presentation of “Flor e o Beija-Flor”, he and Juliano were in tears and asked the audience for help to continue the presentation. The track is a partnership with Marília.
