Cíntia Dicker opens the game about pregnancy: ‘In my head, it’s a girl’

As a first-time pregnant woman, Cíntia Dicker, 35, has already noticed some changes in her routine. The actress and model says that, from the first weeks of pregnancy, she had to stop doing her work and that, during this period, she decided to enjoy her time at home. “I worked for 20 years of my life, now I’m just enjoying it.”

She and surfer Pedro Scooby, 33, announced their pregnancy in mid-July. Together since the year 2020, they weren’t planning on having a baby, but Dicker says the surprise came at a good time. “I’ve never taken any contraceptive, so if it went well, and if it didn’t, that’s ok too”, she says, in a telephone conversation with F5.

The model says that since she found out she was pregnant, she feels like she is carrying a girl. “Liz is praying to be a girl because they are two boys [Dom e Bem]. Every day she says: ‘I hope it’s a girl'”, she comments, about Scooby’s children with his ex-wife, actress Luana Piovani, 45.

Dicker also says that the surfer’s three children celebrated the arrival of another brother. “They were outside the bathroom, waiting for me to audition,” he recalls. “When I left they just asked, ‘So, is it positive?’ and I said yes. Then they were very happy and [me] embraced.”

She also points out that, with the pregnancy, she has been able to accompany her husband more in his activities and work. Dicker says that, since Scooby’s departure from the 22nd edition of BBB (Globo), the surfer’s schedule is full of commitments. “It’s good that we’re doing a lot of things together, but it’s really crazy, and I hope it stays that way and that he works a lot, because there are four children, right?”.

How was it when you found out you were pregnant?

We found out at four weeks, I was in Portugal. We bought a drug test because I was very hungry, very sleepy, with a sore chest. Then Pedro bought the test and it was positive, of course we were very happy, the children loved it too.

How are you feeling now?

I didn’t feel sick, I didn’t feel sick or anything. Normal life. But my belly appeared very early, I had to cancel jobs because I had a belly since the fifth week, my chest was already huge, so I’m quieter.

Will you take a break from your career during pregnancy?

You have to, there’s no way I can do my job while pregnant. Only if they are pregnant photos, changing the focus. But for now, I haven’t even stopped to think about it. I worked for 20 years of my life, now I’m just enjoying it. I will stay home.

You broke the news to fans and netizens with an advertisement. Where did this idea come from?

We didn’t want to do those cliché things that everyone does… [Foto com] hand on belly and written ‘we got pregnant’. When these rumors started, Carol Sampaio, who is the baby’s godmother, spoke to Americanas and they had this idea that we thought was cool, which was different from anything we had ever seen. It had a lot to do with us, and you could understand that we were pregnant, but it wasn’t brazen.

And how did you choose Carol Sampaio to be godmother?

I had no choice, no, she put me on the wall and said, ‘I’m godmother, kiss, bye’ and that was it. But we’ve always been good friends and she always said: ‘When you get pregnant, I’ll be godmother’, and I said it would take time or it wouldn’t happen. When it happened, she already called me and said: ‘Dinda is fixing this and that’. It’s okay! She is a cutie.

Do you already have possible names for the baby?

Have nothing! But since I found out I was [grávida], in my head is girl. So we need to start thinking about girl names.

You and Peter [Scooby] do not usually expose much of their personal life on the networks. Because?

I’m more [reservada] than Pedro, he exposes more things. People even charge to show more routine and everyday life. I think that to do this you have to have the gift, not to be boring. There are people who have this gift, and it shows very well. I still haven’t learned how to do that. Who I admire a lot is Virginia [Fonseca], wife of Zé Felipe, I’m a fan. She shoots all day, I watch it and I love it. It’s very nice and relaxed.
