The official trailer for the Netflix movie “Blonde,” which deals with the life of iconic movie star Marilyn Monroe, was released Thursday.
Cuban actress Ana de Armas embodies the blonde bombshell, managing to become… “in the image and likeness” of the star of the classic films “Men Prefer Blondes, Seven Year Itch and Niagara.
Ana de Armas’ most recent involvement was in ‘The Gray Man’ also on Netflix, as well as ‘No Time To Die’ and ‘Deep Water’.
Blonde will be released on September 23 exclusively on Netflix.
The platform has released new clips of Andrew Dominik’s film, based on Joyce Carol Oates’ bestselling novel.

The cast also includes Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel and Evan Williams.
Some of the photos from the set have surfaced and show de Armas with Adrien Brody, who plays Arthur Miller, her star husband. While in another the frames depict de Armas and Bobby Cannavale as Joe DiMaggio.
