Alec Baldwin’s daughter criticized for wearing fake blood costume

Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland Basinger Baldwin, 26, was criticized for her Halloween costume – in which she appeared alongside her boyfriend oozing fake blood just days after her father accidentally shot director of photography Halyna Hutchins, 42, on the set of the movie “Rust”.

“So we stayed for Halloween this year. There are reporters and paparazzi running all over my street, invading all my privacy,” Ireland wrote in the Instagram post.

Ireland wrote that she didn’t think she and her boyfriend would celebrate, but they found ancient costumes and blood [falso]. “We ate really good food, drank tequila, had some friends, watched a horror movie and didn’t do tricks or treats. How was your Halloween? Raise your hand if you played squid this year.”

The model was dressed like a sexy schoolgirl – with fake blood seeping from her left eye and dripping down her chest and into her tied blouse – while her boyfriend, the musician known as Rac, was dressed in a bloody shirt.

“I feel like I’m taking crazy pills, what the hell is wrong with these people?” one person wrote on Reddit about the publication. Another netizen commented on the photo on Instagram asking, “Oh please…she knows the meaning of respect!”

One person wrote that he is totally sympathetic to what the model’s family is going through. She said it was an extremely unfortunate tragedy that Alec Baldwin went through, but she disapproved of the model’s fantasy.

“But the look of this costume, at this time, is not good. You should do that, but I would like you to think better of posting these pictures.”

A man commented on the post showing support for the model and her family. “I’m sorry you and your dad are going through this. Sending you both positive healing energy.” While another wrote, “I’m glad you have good friends and can still enjoy the day!”
