In promoting his new film, “The Tender Bar,” actor Ben Affleck, 49, told The Wall Street Journal that he is happy with the return of his romance with singer Jennifer Lopez, 17 years after the couple’s breakup. The two are dating and he considers this second chance as one of the consequences of his maturing.
“I can say it’s definitely wonderful for me,” he said.
Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck were engaged between 2002 and 2004. At the time, he gave the singer a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring by Harry Winston, according to British Vogue.
They rekindled their relationship this year. In July, Lopez shared a photo of him kissing the Hollywood star.
In the interview, Affleck avoided giving details about the novel’s new phase. “One of the lessons I’ve learned is that it’s not wise to share everything with the world,” he said. I’m very lucky to have benefited from second chances.”
