Doja Cat, 26, left her followers shocked with a live on social media. Live, the singer decided to radically change her look and shaved her hair and eyebrows with a razor blade.
“I feel like I should never have had hair,” explained the Grammy winner for the song “Kiss Me More” (featuring SZA). “I don’t like having hair. I’ve never liked having hair. I can’t mention a single time since the beginning of my life that I thought, ‘This is cool.’ I just don’t like having hair.”
As fans asked if she was okay, the singer explained that they had only seen her with her own hair on two occasions. “I went through two looks with my real hair. I had to straighten it… There was a moment when it was my hair, but it wasn’t natural because I didn’t feel like it and it was a nightmare, man. For me, it’s over. “
“I’m really enjoying this,” he continued. She even said that she was already so used to wearing wigs that she saw no point in having hair. “What’s the point of having hair if you’re not going to show it?” she questioned. “I can’t even flaunt it, so I’m going to shave it.”
The singer went on to say that she has never felt so happy. “It’s funny how much the hair removal effect has influenced me positively,” she commented. “I can swim, which is an important thing for me because I love surfing. I can work out, I can do really strenuous exercise and I sweat a lot.”
She also considered that if she wants to wear wigs, they will fit better. “If I want to change, I can paint any color without doing it in my own head,” she celebrated. “And it’s too hot for this crap, even though it’s almost autumn [no hemisfério norte]. That’s better, much better.”
Doja even joked that she was glad her head had a nice shape. “I was afraid I had a peanut head,” she revealed. “I was thinking how my head would look without hair.”
