In his ’60 years of Bond’ auction Christie’s, which is estimated to reach 5 million pounds, will come under the hammer gadgets, which were kept hidden in warehouses by the producers of Bond. Aston Martin cars, boats, motorcycles, suits and dresses, expensive watches, which appear in the iconic movies can be yours.
The items also include a £7,000 set of bow ties worn by Daniel Craig and a £10,000 tuxedo worn by Timothy Dalton in ‘A License To Kill’. The speedboat has been in storage for the past 20 years after appearing in the movie The World Is Not Enough, starring Pierce Brosnan.
Adrian Hume-Sayer, head of sales and director of virtual collections at Christie’s, told the Telegraph: ‘Essentially, the speedboat came out of the Thames after filming and has been in storage ever since. It has not been used.” The online sale starts on September 15th and ends on ‘James Bond Day’, October 5th.
