Jason Momoa became…a flight attendant

THE Jason Momoa became a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant to celebrate the carrier’s partnership with the bottled water company Mananalu which he owns and recorded everything in a video he posted on Instagram.

To the surprise of passengers, the in-flight actor served the water known for its recyclable packaging – and even made a special announcement over the intercom.

The actor explained that the idea for the bottled water company was born on a flight when he thought there must be a better way to drink water than a small disposable plastic bottle and began looking for a solution by making an infinitely recyclable version.

“Why can’t we have aluminum?” he says in the video. “There’s sparkling water, beer, soda, soft drinks. Why do I have to have this little pack of water?’

As stated on the company’s website, the equivalent of one plastic water bottle is also removed from the ocean with the sale of each aluminum package.

Captioning the post, Momoa added, “…honored that Hawaiian Airlines is the first airline to partner with Mananalu. This year we removed 3 million plastic bottles from the ocean. Don’t stop stirring the waters to save our beautiful planet.”
