Model and photographer Brooklyn Beckham, 23, said all is well amid rumors of an altercation between his mother, former Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz. The buzz started when she didn’t wear a dress from her mother-in-law’s brand on her wedding day, opting for Valentino.
“I learned that they will always try to write stuff like that. They will always try to put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good,” the photographer told Variety in its latest issue of “Power of Young Hollywood.”
Nicola also tried to deny any disagreements with her mother-in-law and said the gossip started when she didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham dress to the wedding, which took place in April this year.
The actress stated that she wanted to wear a Victoria Beckham dress, but her mother-in-law realized that her studio couldn’t do it and she had to choose another one. “She didn’t say you can’t use it. I didn’t say I didn’t want to use it. That’s when the rumors started.”
Despite the couple denying the fight, sources told Page Six that the actress and former Spice Girls and stylist “can’t stand and don’t talk” and that “the preparation for the wedding was horrible”. According to the sources, Nicola didn’t want Victoria “to be a part of the wedding planning” and “communication was minimal.”
