Rodrigo Faro, 48, published this Thursday (11) a behind-the-scenes photo of the film “Sequestro”, which plays the presenter and owner of SBT, Silvio Santos. The Record employee is the protagonist of the production, which still has no premiere date and is directed by Marcelo Antunes. The film tells the story of the day the Abravanel family was held hostage by a criminal for seven hours in their own home in 2001.

“End of a long, difficult, exhausting journey…40 days filming and presenting my show simultaneously and non-stop…Away from family, friends…A crazy care with voice, body and character”, wrote the presenter of ” Hora do Faro” in the caption of the photo featured by Silvio Santos.

Rodrigo, who is also an actor, announced the end of filming and how his routine was during work. “To record ‘Vai dar Namoro’ until late, arrive home dead and still have to memorize text for the film that would start shooting at 7 am the next day…(the car picked me up every day at 6 am). hours of characterization, rehearsals of choreography for Dança Gatinho, all together…How crazy my God…But despite the fatigue, this was a very beautiful and exciting journey”, assumed Faro, who, in the end, was grateful for the opportunity to return to acting.

“It was all worth it…An honor, a happiness to be able to honor my biggest idol on TV!!!!Thanks my God and my family for the strength!!!Wait!!!”, he concluded.

In late May 2001, Silvio Santos and his family spent seven hours held hostage. The situation happened two days after his daughter, presenter Patrícia Abravanel, was also released from a kidnapping that lasted seven days. The central theme of the film “Kidnapping” is the dialogue between Silvio and the kidnapper, Fernando Dutra Pinto, arrested shortly afterwards. He died on January 2, 2002 at the Provisional Detention Center (CDP) Chácara Belém II, East Zone of São Paulo.
