Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29, at 12:00, the Council of Ministers will meet under the leadership of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at Megaros Maximos.

Also at 18.00 the Prime Minister will speak at the unveiling ceremony of the new bioclimatic aspect of the main building of the Ministry of National Defense.

The subjects of the meeting of the Council of Ministers are:

– Presentation by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Kostis Hatzidakis regarding the initiative for a state more friendly to citizens and economic activity.

– Presentation by the Vice-President of the Government and Minister of State Kostis Hatzidakis, the Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis and the Minister of Rural Development and Food Kostas Tsiaras, of the legislative initiatives for the reform of the National Payments Organization and the transition from the Organization for Payments & Control of Community Aid Guidance & Guarantees to the Independent Public Revenue Authority.

– Presentation by the Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Deputy Minister Nikos Papathanasis and Deputy Minister Giorgos Kotsiras, of the legislative initiatives: a) Incorporation of Directives 2023/2226 and 2025/872 regarding administrative cooperation in the field of taxation, b) New National Development Program,

-Presentation by the Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou of the bill for the establishment of the Greek Artificial Intelligence Factory “FAROS AI Factory”,

– Presentation by the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Yiannis Kefalogiannis of the 2025 fire season report,

-Proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis for the establishment, formation and operation of a Government Committee for the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union,

– Proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis for the establishment, establishment and operation of a Government Committee for the extroversion of the Greek economy.
