After passing through the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and undergoing four surgeries, countryman Thiago Costa continues to recover after the water accident he suffered in Belém (PA), on November 11th.
In audio sent by Thiago to fans to whom the F5 had access, the countryman says he is still expecting to recover completely.
“What a pleasure to be able to talk to you. I went through this terrible accident, but I am alive. Thanks to God, my family, my wife. Thanks to everyone who helped me from the beginning and made sure I was taken care of quickly,” he began.
The countryman thanked all the messages he has received and says they give him strength. “The accident was very serious, I spent a week in the ICU, I had four surgeries, three on the leg and one on the arm, there were nine blood bags”, he says.
According to the musician, who regrets having to cancel the entire schedule of concerts he had until the end of the year, the moment has been the most difficult of his life, but the gratitude for being alive is greater than any despair.
“A new Thiago Costa will come in 2022, much better to be able to sing for you. During this period when I was still, I really missed my family, my daughter and my fans. Soon I’ll be back to bring joy,” he said.
There is no high expectation yet. In the accident, Costa was on a watercraft that was hit by a speedboat in the hole in the river Maguari. Another person, whose name was not disclosed, was also rescued by firefighters in the accident.
