An unknown episode in the fierce confrontation of the once “shining couple” of Hollywood Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie became known in the last few hours.
The actress is revisiting an old case that hadn’t seen the light of day by filing a lawsuit against the FBI in April — anonymously, (“Jane Doe”) — seeking the release of documents related to an investigation involving Brad Pitt, but also to learn why criminal charges were not brought against her ex-husband for an alleged 2016 fight on their private jet that led to her filing for divorce days later.

The FBI report on the incident shared with both parties initially in 2017. The report is being leaked by US and UK media.
The Assistant United States Attorney and the Assistant Chief of the United States Criminal Division discussed the case in November 2017, before the decision was made to close it and not pursue charges against Brad Pitt due to a lack of evidence against him.
The couple were flying from Nice, France to the US, along with their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivian and Knox.
The clash
According to the FBI report, which did not name names, “her ex-husband and their children, all of whom were minors at the time, were traveling on a private jet” when “the husband allegedly physically and verbally assaulted Jolie and the children , who “‘have suffered permanent physical and mental trauma as a result of the attack'”.
Pitt reportedly took Jolie to the back of the plane, grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her while yelling: “She’s got this family.”
Throughout the flight, Pitt also acted like a “monster,” according to Jolie, complaining non-stop and yelling at the kids.
The actress also claims the star spilled beer on her and that she suffered injuries to her back and elbow, as well as an injury to her hand, while punching their son Maddox in the face.
Pete, on the other hand, only suffered a “scratch” from the incident, which he says “could have been from her.”
Jolie gave an FBI agent “a picture of her bruised elbow in an attempt to confirm it.” Pete denies all of his ex-wife’s allegations.
