Simone’s husband, Simaria’s ex-double, says his wife will be ‘number one in the country’

After Simone Mendes, 38, and Simaria Mendes, 40, announced the end of the country duo, businessman Kaká Diniz, 36, praised his wife, who will pursue a solo career. He stated that Simore will shine a lot in the new stage.

The end of the duo comes after several disagreements between the sisters. Simaria announced that he was leaving the duo when he turned 40. The singer claimed at the time that she needed to take care of her health and revealed that her sister would fulfill the concert schedule of the two, alone.

However, the relationship between the two sisters has already shown signs of wear in the previous months. The artists had some disagreements in public and faced a climate on stage, after a delay by Simaria for a show.

Simaria said that, despite having a great experience with her sister, she ends up feeling reprimanded by her at times. In an interview with columnist Leo Dias, she recalls when the audio of a discussion between the two on the Programa do Ratinho (SBT) was leaked on the web: “It was my cry for help”.

Shortly after, she revealed that she can’t stand her sister’s controlling way anymore in an interview with Domingo Espetacular (Record). “She keeps controlling me. ‘Shut up, don’t say that’. Man, at 40 I’m not going to shut up anymore, you know? I’m going to say what I think is right. We won together. But it doesn’t mean that because we win together we have to die as a double forever,” he admitted.
