Dermatologist Thales Bretas, 33, widower of Paulo Gustavo, who died in May at age 42 as a result of complications from Covid-19, paid a tribute to the comedian this Saturday (4). The doctor threw the actor’s ashes into a river in New York (USA) on the day seven months after the actor’s death.
He was accompanied by friends, such as actor Marcus Majella, 42, who played with Paulo Gustavo in programs such as “Vai que cola” (Multishow). On his Instagram, the doctor posted the moment he throws the ashes and wrote a tribute to the actor.
“So good to have you around, even if you are far away… I feel you in each place, in each friend, in each love spread around the world! Today the world completes 7 months without your physical presence, but you will never be absent! Never again. And now, forever in NY too. It was very beautiful… the day was more colorful when it welcomed you! Thank you friends @marcusmajella @bercebia_ and @castroo_rj (making the video) for making my day and our trip special!”, wrote Bretas.
Recently, the doctor donated Paulo Gustavo’s clothes to a charity campaign. The costume was the one the comedian wore in the feature “Minha Vida Em Marte”, starring alongside Mônica Martelli.
The clothes were part of the 50-year auction of Doctors Without Borders (MSF), and were sold for R$ 9,800.
