Bruna Marquezine becomes a nurse on Halloween and upsets the Nursing Council

Actress Bruna Marquezine, 26, decided to wear a nurse costume to enjoy Halloween. However, this fact caused annoyance in Coren-SP (Regional Nursing Council of São Paulo) which released a note against the attitude.

“Nursing is a profession that requires technical knowledge, years of study and a lot of commitment and dedication in their daily lives. In addition, as it is a predominantly female category, with more than 80% of women, it suffers the impacts of gender inequalities, the which includes episodes of violence and harassment,” the note began.

Elsewhere, the Council makes it clear that it does not accept the category being used as a form of entertainment at parties. “For these and many other reasons, it is unacceptable that the nurse’s costume, used in carnivals, Halloween parties and satires continues to be tolerated by society, especially by opinion makers”.

Marquezine decided to erase from his Stories the images in which he appeared with the fantasy. She also had not yet spoken until the publication of this text.
