Actress Meghan Hilty, 41, has spoken out about the death of her sister, brother-in-law and nephew after a plane crash. On Wednesday night (7), she mourned, in a post made on her Instagram, the loss of her family last Sunday (4).
“On Sunday afternoon, a small seaplane crashed in Puget Sound off the coast of Whidbey Island. My beloved sister Lauren, brother-in-law Ross [Mickel] and my nephew Remy were on that plane.”
The “Smash” (2012-2013) star went on to say that “the last three days have been the worst of our lives. There really are no words to adequately convey the depth of our pain.” She further revealed that Lauren and Ross left a daughter, who was not on the plane.
“We ask that her name and personal information be kept confidential as she is a minor,” he added. “It is important that these details are corrected to respectfully honor everyone we have lost and the loved ones we have left behind.”
Finally, she thanked the support and affection she has received from fans and netizens. “It was so comforting to know how loved Lauren, Ross, Remy and Luca really are,” she concluded. The seaplane crashed in Washington, USA, and had 10 people on board. After the crash, only one body was found by the Coast Guard.
