Sporting the colors green, yellow and blue in a T-shirt fitted to the body with a knot, the British singer Dua Lipa surprised residents of Rio de Janeiro this Saturday (10) by taking a walk through the central region of the city.
Photos and videos shared by fans on social media show the pop music star moving between stalls at Feira do Lavradio, in Lapa, and in front of the tiles of Escadaria Selarón — always surrounded by security guards, admirers and screams.
Smiling, Dua waved to fans and posed for photos during the tour of the state capital. “I scream that Dua Lipa is here near my house”, wrote a user on Twitter when sharing one of the videos of the journey.
The singer has not skimped on moments as a tourist during her visit to Brazil. In São Paulo, where she performed on Thursday (8), she visited the Casa de Vidro do Instituto Bardi and ate brigadeiro and cheese bread.
On her Instagram profile, the Brit recorded the tours and commented on the video of a fan who took home a scenographic moon after her show in the capital of São Paulo. The prop, made of plastic and illuminated by blue and purple lights, was part of the stage decoration and was released to the public during the performance.
“I think this moon now has a very happy home. Nice souvenir from the show to take home with you,” she wrote.
Dua Lipa will perform at Rock in Rio on Sunday (11), the day that marks the end of this year’s edition of the festival. She will be one of the attractions of the Mundo Stage, which will also receive Ivete Sangalo, Rita Ora and Megan Thee Stallion on the same date.
