It is said that the president of the Mansion Association hid a camera in a flowerpot in the main bedroom of the guest house and saw the couple naked.

Robert William Orr, 59, has been accused of spying on the couple “in various stages of undress,” according to the Florida Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The two had been staying in a Palm Coast hotel room over the weekend, police said, until a woman found a USB camera attached to a flower pot in the bedroom on Aug. 30.

“This pervert set up a video camera in the apartment he was in charge of so he could monitor the people inside without their knowledge or consent,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staley said in a rice field. “This is a disgusting invasion of privacy.”

The couple took the camera to the police. The researchers found images of the couple in intimate moments.

Orr, president of the Las Brisas Condominium Association in the beach community of Matanzas Shores, also filmed a camera test with his unit before installing it inside the pot.

He was charged with four counts of video voyeurism. The two were booked into the Perry Hall Sheriff’s Detention Center on Tuesday and released after posting $20,000 bond.

Officers executing the search warrant found even more cameras and spy devices in Orr’s unit.

The unit’s owner said he took care of the place while Orr lived out of state, usually empty but occasionally letting in visitors.

Authorities are asking anyone who “allowed two people unsupervised access to their home” to search for hidden cameras.

This is not the only recent example of hidden cameras in the United States.

This summer, police found a camera hidden inside a false fire alarm in a public restroom on Sanibel Island, Florida. Dana Alan Caruso, 58, was arrested and charged with various felony and misdemeanor voyeurism charges.

And in March, an Airbnb host in Comfort, Texas allegedly took more than 2,000 videos and photos of people in his cabins. Jay Ali faces 15 counts in an invasion of privacy lawsuit.
