Pop singer Dua Lipa joined the most talked about topics on Twitter after asking Multishow to delay the broadcast of the Rock in Rio show by half an hour on TV, in the early hours of this Monday (12). With that, she angered fans and won memes on social media.
Many netizens commented on Twitter that the singer is “the enemy of the Brazilian worker”. A user of the social network said that Dua Lipa is making fun of the worker because it’s Monday and everyone has to work. “With this request from Dua Lipa, I declare my participation in Rock in Rio this year closed.”
A woman asked why the singer made such a request to delay the broadcast by half an hour for TV. “What requests are these,” she wrote, adding a dog meme. “Guys what do you mean Dua Lipa asked to delay the transmission for half an hour since I’ve been on this couch since 6 pm waiting for her?”, asked another internet user.
Other netizens commented that they are feeling like clowns. “Me and Brazil waiting for the Dua Lipa show because the pretty one wanted it to be broadcast on TV half an hour after it started”, commented another Twitter user and added a meme with clowns.
Angered by the singer’s request, a Twitter user wrote that he is now sure that the artist did not deserve to be the artist to close a festival of the greatness of Rock in Rio. “Sorry fans but zero patience for little star,” she wrote.
Other netizens said they cannot think of a reason for the singer to ask for a delay in broadcasting the show on TV. “I can’t think of a plausible reason for her to ask for this half-hour delay in the broadcast,” commented one netizen. “People talking bad about the Megan Thee Stallion show here comes Dua Lipa and asks to broadcast the show half an hour after it starts,” wrote another person.
