Camilla de Lucas denounces racism in business class in flight: ‘He asked to see my ticket’

Camilla de Lucas used social media to denounce an episode of racism that she suffered from a stewardess during an international flight in the early hours of this Wednesday (14). The former BBB was returning from the United States to Brazil and said that she was the only passenger to have her place in business class questioned by the flight attendant.

“The flight is full and all the seats are here and the woman came to ask for my seat. She questioned if I was really seated here. The woman only came to ask for my card to see if the seat was really this one and didn’t ask to nobody else. Then I say that things happen and you think it doesn’t happen”, began the visibly nervous presenter in a live broadcast on Instagram stories.

The BBB21 participant, 27, continued with her outburst. “She came back and I asked why she had asked for the ticket just for me. She replied that she was going to check the passengers’ seats, but she didn’t ask for anyone else. There’s a Brazilian who is nearby, she was surprised and asked ‘hué?’. another embarrassment because people think that we cannot occupy certain places”, he concluded, already crying with the situation.

Hours later, she returned to talk about the case. Camilla de Lucas said she understands that the flight attendant’s job is to ask for tickets from passengers on crowded flights to check the right places to avoid duplicating a seat. But with her it was another story. The influencer considered it a case of racism.

“The problem is that this stewardess doubted if I had paid for the executive ticket. Only me. I proved to her that that place was mine, but there was a feeling of shame. It was an embarrassment “, said the former BBB. “People will have to get used to it. We will continue to occupy the places that we also have rights”, concluded Camilla.
