Just six weeks before the shooting of the movie “Dallas Sting” started with him Matthew McConaughey production company Skydance Media announced its cancellation. Speaking to the newspaper, Kinder denied the allegations and said the letter “was quite encrypted”.
“Nothing happened, nothing ever happened,” he said.
In the play, set in 1984, McConaughey was to play Kinder who coached the Dallas women’s soccer team on their journey to the soccer world championship. The film was to follow the Texan coach and his team as they defied the odds and defeated women’s teams around the world, including Australia, Japan, China and Italy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
