The aim of this series is: on the one hand, to familiarize children with subjects of physical geography, environment and geology through stories inspired by real events that describe in simplified terms real processes that occur in nature; on the other hand, to understand that in nature, as in life in general , every action leads to a reaction, so that they grow up to be thoughtful and aware adults.
In the first book The Journey of the Drop we follow the path followed by the raindrop in the event of a flash flood. The actual processes that occur from the moment the rain begins its journey on the surface of the earth until it returns – through evaporation – to the atmosphere are presented.
The publication is surrounded by narrative maps (access is free by scanning the relevant QR-CODE) that combine text, photos and videos and in a figurative way “guide” young and old readers to the areas, events and situations connected with the Journey of the Drop.
