“Short stick” entered the most talked about topics on Twitter and yielded memes after Senator Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) told President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) not to poke the jaguar with “short stick” in the debate between presidential candidates on SBT , this Saturday (24).

“Don’t poke the jaguar with your short stick. Respect”, said the senator to Bolsonaro, drawing laughter in the studio. Soraya was responding to a right of reply after the president said she and Simone Tebet did not vote in favor of overturning the secret budget veto.
